We saw caribou and moose several times in different places, bald eagles, loads of Dall sheep, and a grizzly bear which was walking on the road towards us, following 2 walkers! Food was great and bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed feeding all the animalsespecially the moose and the reindeer. A MUST see when you are in the Palmer area! We were given snack boxes and bottles of water, but I'd really recommend bringing extra food and drink if you go on the 8 hour tour as we did. Stopover in Anchorage for lunch (not included) before continuing your journey to Talkeetna. On my most recent trip, I also made a visit to the Anchorage Museum, which has undergone massive renovations since my family moved away from Alaska 10+ years ago.
