Dr. Warren makes history as the first Black woman to serve as CEO of a leading symphony orchestra in the United States and Canada, and is one of few African Americans to have ever served in an executive leadership role for an orchestra. The Fellows will also participate in Young Peoples Concerts, outdoor community concerts, small ensemble educational concerts for elementary school students, and a variety of media appearances to help equip them to succeed in their careers as performers and educators.
